According to 4 NYC News, a sweet heart-ed person proved that there are still very good people in the world. A woman discovered a wallet containing thousands of dollars in Times Square. She reported it immediately and turned it in.

Eduardo Martinez is from Honduras, works hard and considers every cent a blessing. He was walking to work near Broadway and 49th Street and dropped his wallet, which contained cards, his ID and $4,000 cash.

Eventually he realized and started looking in the areas he'd just come from. After asking around, he came upon two police officers. They were able to help him because they'd just been given a wallet by an unnamed woman who had turned it in. The woman was concerned and hoped that it would be returned to the rightful owner.

Once his identification was verified, the police returned the wallet. When Eduardo looked inside, he was surprised to find all of his money, cards and ID intact.

Eduardo says he’s grateful to the cops and the woman who returned his wallet and ALL of its contents. He also said that their act of kindness proves that there are still honest people in the world.
